TD Bank adds mobile deposit feature to mobile app

NORTH AMERICA --TD Bank recently launched mobile deposit through the TD Bank mobile app for Android and iPhone , providing customers with a simple, safe and convenient option for depositing checks into their accounts.

Available to all TD Bank customers of at least 90 days with an active checking, savings, or money market account, TD Bank Mobile Deposit offers the capability to deposit a check from anywhere at any time.

"Mobile Deposit is an exciting new feature for our mobile banking customers," said Nandita Bakhshi, Head of Retail Distribution and Products for TD Bank. "We continue to make significant investments in developing and enhancing our online and mobile capabilities because we know our customers value these convenient ways to bank with us. TD Bank Mobile Deposit is one more way that we're working to make banking more simple and convenient for our customers."

To use Mobile Deposit, customers can simply download the TD Bank app at or update their current version of the app. Then, customers can make a deposit by following an easy, three step process. First, the customer selects the deposit amount, followed by taking a photograph of the front and back of the endorsed check. Finally, the customer can choose which account to deposit the check into.

Funds deposited with TD Bank Mobile Deposit before 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time are generally available the next business day. For further details, customers are encouraged to refer to the Funds Availability Policy in their TD Bank Mobile Deposit Addendum.
