GuestLogix announces POSie Award recipients

The POSie Awards recognize the year's best in onboard retail innovation and excellence and are presented to customers who are doing business in new and innovative ways with GuestLogix products and services.

This year's POSie categories, recipients and nominees are as follows:
Highest Revenue per Flight for a Buy on board Program (measures an airline's onboard sales performance compared with the previous year)
Winner: Alaska Airlines for their continued higher than average revenues per flight
Nominees: Ryanair, United Airlines, US Airways, WestJet Airlines
Most Innovative Use of a POS Solution ( recognizes companies that have deployed a POS solution in innovative ways onboard the aircraft)
Winner: Frontier Airlines for their onboard fundraising programs
Nominees: Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, East Coast Main Line, Garuda Indonesia
Best Onboard Merchandising Strategy (recognizes organizations that have created new onboard retail initiatives that have made a significant impact to their business)
Winner: WestJet Airlines for their unique selection of onboard offerings
Nominees: Eurostar, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Ryanair
