Conexus selects Everlink as their debit card issuing partner
MARKHAM, ONT.-- Everlink Payment Services Inc., a provider of integrated payment solutions and services for credit unions, banks and ISOs in Canada, has announced that Conexus Credit Union has signed a substantial contract to utilize Everlink’s Central Card Issuance (CCI) solution for their debit card issuing needs. Conexus, Saskatchewan’s largest credit union and the sixth largest in Canada, will begin issuing single interface EMV (chip) debit cards when the program is launched this November.
“Payment technologies are currently undergoing unparalleled change, and via its suite of Card Issuance solutions, Everlink is working with credit unions to serve their members, remain competitive and stay at the forefront of technology and payments solutions advancements,” says Mark Ripplinger, President of Everlink. “Not only will CCI allow Conexus to build on their already exceptional service record, but it will provide their members with an industry leading payment card solution which will include dual interface EMV (chip and contactless) card issuing in the near future.”
Everlink Central Card Issuance (CCI) is an integral part of Everlink’s suite of Card Issuance and Management solutions. It works by enabling financial institutions to cost-effectively produce single or dual interface EMV cards from a secure central facility, and from there, send directly to the member/customer or to the branch for distribution. Everlink is the first in Canada to instantly issue a fully personalized, Interac and MasterCard certified EMV Chip card.
