InComm and Shoppers Drug Mart take home top honors at Prepaid Awards Canada

TORONTO--InComm, a leading prepaid product and transaction services company, and Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada's leading drug store retailer, announced the retailer was named Leading Gift/Prepaid Organization at Prepaid Awards Canada. In addition, the two companies were awarded Best Marketing Campaign for Gift Card Week at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Shoppers Drug Mart has been selling prepaid products since 2005, pioneering the first true gift card mall destination inCanada. They carry a large selection of prepaid products, including gift cards, content, music, financial, software, wireless and long distance. InComm is the sole provider of prepaid products in all Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix locations across Canada, providing multiple permanent and seasonal fixtures and displays, warehousing, distribution and promotional execution.

The retailer's Gift Card Week campaign was targeted to its Shoppers Optimum loyalty program members and promoted the purchase of prepaid products. For every one dollar spent in the store, members received ten points. Members who spent $150 or more on two or more gift cards received 8,000 Optimum points, which could be redeemed later for goods in the store.
