GCA expands Canadian presence
LAS VEGAS--Global Cash Access Holdings Inc, a global provider of innovative cash access solutions and data intelligence for casinos, today announced that it continues to expand its presence in Canada and Asia and has entered into several new agreements with international casino operators for the provision of its cash access products and Central Credit services.
“GCA’s expansion in both Canada and Asia represents very positive steps forward, as we continue to evolve our products and intelligence to meet the needs of the industry and our customers”
GCA recently installed its QuikCash Plus (QCP) and QuickCash Kiosk products at Edgewater Casino, operated by Paragon Casinos in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. This marks GCA’s first location in Vancouver and the third Paragon Casinos property at which GCA provides its QCP and QuikCash Kiosks services in Canada. GCA has also signed an agreement for its QCP and QuickCash Kiosk services with seven properties operated by Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, Inc., a leading casino operator in British Columbia.
Additionally, GCA has expanded its business in Alberta, Canada, and has signed three new agreements that further position GCA as the preeminent cash access provider to casinos in Alberta. GCA will now be providing QCP, QuickCash Kiosks and debit and credit card cash access services at Deerfoot Inn and Casino, Century Resorts Alberta Inc., and Cash Casino-Red Deer. GCA now provides cash access services for 20 out of the 26 casinos located in Alberta, Canada.
GCA has also further developed its presence in Asia through services provided by Central Credit, a wholly owned subsidiary of GCA, which is the industry’s exclusive gaming patron credit bureau, with a database that consists of decades of credit history and transaction data on millions of gaming patrons. All major casino operators in Macau are now using Central Credit’s products. Marina Bay Sands PTE Ltd. in Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, Star Cruises Limited in Hong Kong, and Emperors Palace Hotel Casino and Convention Center Resort in South Africa, have all recently signed agreements with Central Credit, which provides services that assist in simplifying cage operations and facilitating the credit issuing decision process. The introduction and adoption of Central Credit in Asia and other international markets further enhances the value of the service, as the database of millions of gaming patrons continues to grow with each new account. To date, 33 international casinos in 15 countries subscribe to Central Credit services.
“GCA’s expansion in both Canada and Asia represents very positive steps forward, as we continue to evolve our products and intelligence to meet the needs of the industry and our customers,” commented Scott Betts, president and CEO of GCA. “We believe that our exclusive focus on the gaming industry allows us to provide casino operators payments and customer market solutions that enhance the player experience and enable seamless integration. We look forward to working with our new gaming partners and continuing to offer best-in-class solutions to help drive more business property-wide.”
