Posera, Shift4 announce process of certification for integrated payment offering is underway
TORONTO -- Posera Ltd. and Shift4 Corporation announced today that the certification process between Posera's Maitre'D and Shift4's DOLLARS ON THE NET is in progress.
Posera is currently engaged with Shift4 to certify a food and beverage (F&B) integration between the Maitre'D point-of-sale (POS) solution and the DOLLARS ON THE NET payment gateway. The integration will feature support for EMV chip card transactions, along with the layered security of Shift4's tokenization and PCI-validated point-to-point encryption.
With connections to all major processors in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean, Shift4 is bank and processor neutral, allowing merchants to choose the financial relationships that best suit their business needs. This new partnership with Shift4 will allow Posera to build on the momentum of their great success in the hotel market across Europe, as they expand throughout North America.
"The Shift4 integration to Maitre'D is a significant asset that adds many capabilities, such as multi-revenue centers and multi-merchant IDs, to stay in line with Posera's strategic focus on payment functionality for hotels," said Dan Poirier, Chief Executive Officer, Posera. "This integration will simplify the ability for 3rd party restaurants to communicate and improve the overall flow of billing reconciliation throughout all merchants," added Poirier.
"We're excited to bring a reliable, secure payments foundation to merchants using Maitre'D. Our partnership with Posera further reinforces our position as true merchant advocates, delivering unrivaled payment security, advanced auditing and reporting features, and world-class customer service to the hospitality industry," said Daniel Montellano, Vice President of Strategic Business Development, Shift4.
