New Haven Cash Register Company simplifies name to NHCR
HAMDEN - New Haven Cash Register Company, Inc., a leading reseller of point of sale and related security solutions, has launched a new brand identity for the company that will now be known as NHCR. The brand initiative reflects NHCR's full range of wired and tablet-based point of sale (POS) systems, credit card and gift card processing and security solutions that transcend traditional cash register products.
The Company will continue to be headquartered in Hamden, CT and will be led by chief executive officer Arthur Rosenbaum. NHCR has been a New Haven County employer for over 60 years.
Commenting on the new corporate brand, Mr. Rosenbaum said, "Our Company has forged an enviable reputation as a leader in providing the very best cash register solutions and support in our target markets for over six decades. However, NHCR provides a much broader spectrum of solutions than those which we've been traditionally known for and our continued business growth is being fueled by a number of these new initiatives. As the marketplace fully evolves from traditional cash register solutions, we are now pursuing expanded opportunities for fully integrated, point of sale solutions with secure credit card processing, gift cards, network security and surveillance systems. Fully leveraging our track record, technological resources and our highly trained staff, our simplified name effectively communicates this strategy and our intention to aggressively pursue these opportunities."
Effective immediately, all New Haven Cash Register Company business activity will be conducted under the new brand name, NHCR. The rebranding initiative also features the launch of a new corporate logo, online presence and marketing material. Existing websites and email addresses will automatically redirect to the new domain.
