ACT Canada promotes Andrea McMullen to president
TORONTO--ACT Canada has promoted Andrea McMullen to the position of president, while former president Catherine Johnston will remain as CEO. As President, Andrea McMullen will be responsible for implementing high-level strategies, making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of the association and directing its growth.
McMullen has been with the association since 1998 and has had responsibility for operations, finance and member services.
"With the considerable growth of the association and the changes in payment facing our members in the coming years, I am pleased that Andrea will bring her extensive knowledge of the association and her dedication to our members' goals into this position," said Catherine Johnston, CEO.
As McMullen steps into the position of president, Johnston will continue to serve as chief executive officer, setting the strategy for the association. She is responsible for market and industry issues management, advocacy, and external relationships. She is also the association's Chief Privacy Officer and media spokesperson.
