Collective POS selects MSC Payment Solutions to provide VeriFone terminals to Canadian merchants
TORONTO-- Collective Point of Sale Solutions Ltd., a provider of payment processing and merchant services in Canada, has announced it will purchase at least 2,000 VeriFone Optimum T4220 countertop P.O.S. terminals and 500 VeriFone Optimum M4230 mobile point-of-sale terminals from MSC Payment Solutions, a value-added reseller of point-of-sale equipment.
“The VeriFone Optimum T4220 and M4230 were chosen because they’re today’s most technologically advanced IP/ dial-up and mobile credit, debit and gift card payment devices,” said Michael Back, president and CEO, Collective POS. “With the terminals’ EMV chip technology, our customers will benefit from enhanced security and protection from fraud. EMV also offers greater transaction speed, convenience and ease of use."
The VeriFone Optimum P.O.S. terminals, with their EMV chip technology, meet stringent industry security regulations, are PCI-approved, Interac-certified and include more standard memory than any other competitive device in their class. Along with unrivalled IP transaction processing and download speeds, they feature VeriFone’s unique IP diagnostics application that informs the user where errors occur – then how to fix them.
“Our goal is to deliver fast time-saving performance to help small-to-medium sized Canadian businesses to grow in profitability by operating more cost-effectively,” Back added. “With this VeriFone deployment, we have once again delivered among the fastest and best technology to this market.”
