Jack Henry & Associates deploys Inetco’s Insight system

U.S. transaction processor Jack Henry & Associates is to implement Vancouver, BC-based Inetco Systems Ltd’s Insight system to reduce the risk of downtime in its payment processing operations.

Insight provides alerting, inquiry and reporting tools for monitoring and analyzing the performance of ATM, point of sale (POS) and other EFT payment channels across dial-up, IP and wireless network environments. The system also provides real-time data on the performance of communications networks used to transport payment transactions.

“This is a big deal for us, as Jack Henry is one of the largest transaction processors in the U.S.,” Marc Borbas, vice president of marketing at Inetco, tells Payments Business. “We also have relationships with Open Solutions and FIS (Fidelity National Information Services).’

The Jack Henry & Associates business units which will deploy Insight are the jhaPassPort EFT Solutions Group and JHA Payment Processing Solutions which provide various payment processing platforms and ATM, debit, credit, and prepaid card solutions to both banks and credit unions.

According to Inetco, Insight will provide the jhaPassPort EFT Solutions Group and JHA Payment Processing Solutions units with up to eight days of complete transaction history, which can be used to track and resolve performance problems. Issues can be directed to the appropriate level of support and fixed before they result in customer service disruptions, Inetco says.
