New prepaid home phone plan first in Ontario and Quebec
TORONTO--- Primus Canada, a telecommunications company, is now offering a new prepaid home phone service which can be paid for with Ukash vouchers. The company has partnered with Ukash and Now Prepay to enable customers to purchase the vouchers across the country.
Much like prepaid cell phone plans, customers choose a monthly plan and fees are charged daily. Long distance calls are also billed in real time. Customers can check their balance from their home phone to find out how much they have left in their account.
Ukash vouchers are purchased with cash in retail outlets and issued online from the company's website. The unique 19 digit codes are then used to pay directly with cash on websites that accept Ukash transactions.
"Primus customers can get Ukash codes from any self-serve Now Prepay terminal found in retail locations such as convenience stores and gas stations across the country," says David Hunter, CEO at Ukash. "We're excited to partner with Primus Canada to offer their customers a convenient and flexible way to pay for their Prepaid Home Phone service."
Now Prepay is a division of automated transaction system software licensees VendTek. "We are delighted to be associated with Primus and Ukash in making home phone service a reality for many Canadians who may have previously had difficulties accessing it," says Francois Chevallier, chief operating officer, VendTek. "Our network of 15,000 locations makes it easy and convenient for customers to pre-pay for their services with whichever payment method they choose."
